Do not touch bare wires!

What wires do you mean? We frequently touch electrical wires in the home, and they are safe because they are insulated. You don’t want to touch bare wires if you don’t know what they are connected to because they could have a dangerous voltage on them. I’m not afraid to touch a bare wire if I know it’s not connected to a power source, or if I know it is low voltage or it is switched off.

Maybe you mean power lines on the ground after a storm. You shouldn’t even go near those because they could have very high voltage and are uninsulated. Even the ground near the wires could have a dangerous voltage gradient on it.

Electrician’s tools. Hardhat, multimeter, pliers, cutter, cables, etc.
